As part of Framatome’s investment in its largest American facility, Baskervill was entrusted with designing a new office component that would elevate the employee experience for the nuclear energy solutions company. The task was twofold: integrate a high-functioning office within the existing 60,000-square-foot facility while reflecting Framatome’s growing global identity. Leveraging expertise across both Workplace and Manufacturing & Logistics studios, the design balances operational needs with human-centered strategies.
Informed by an extensive engagement process, employee input guided the planning approach. A predominately office-heavy layout honors requests for privacy while weaving in moments of connection through visual transparency and shared circulation. A central stair interrupts long corridors to encourage conversation, while framed mountain views transform site limitations into a unique advantage.
