Yebo, formerly known as the Barber Martin Agency, is all about creatively telling their clients’ stories. So when they took a look around their 1980s workspace (located in a suburban office park) and realized they weren’t adequately telling their own brand story, they partnered with Baskervill to make it happen. Our team helped them scout the right location: a 10,000-SF converted industrial warehouse in up-and-coming Scott’s Addition—a perfect representation of the firm’s spirited artistic energy, and the right size for intentional growth.
We then worked with Yebo to identify their needed workspace zones and created a variety of neighborhoods within the office for different tasks. The resulting layout mimics the cityscape just outside. Enclosed glass offices are intentionally oriented around a bustling core and strategically arranged by height. A show-stopping raised platform (designed for large gatherings and creative blitzes) welcomes visitors upon entrance and immediately immerses them in the agency’s process and culture. An expansive, light-filled production area features flexible workstations and is bolstered by nearby casual booth seating, which does double duty as a space for solo mobile work and connecting with coworkers throughout the day. A hospitality corner—featuring lounge seating and a bar-top with beer on tap—offers employees and clients an additional place of respite and inspiration.
With its polished concrete floors, charred wood planks, reclaimed windows, and strategic flashes of their signature orange hue, the office is a lively, bright testament to the agency’s award-winning 30-year portfolio—and an animated addition to the surrounding neighborhood’s collection of boutique creative agencies.
