The design concept for this adaptive reuse project sprang from the name of the boutique public relations firm housed within, The Hodges Partnership. Named for famed Brooklyn Dodgers star Gil Hodges, the space is a fun, conversation-friendly space with a variety of collaborative work areas designed to evoke the nostalgia and spirit of baseball. A second-story conference room with views of the city’s skyline is affectionately dubbed “The Skybox,” while a separated tiered workspace is called “The Bleachers.” The project also tackled the exterior renovation of the building, including the removal of a decaying staircase, the enclosure of parts of the second story, and the creation of a brand-new entry for employees.
