Architecture

This concept was created for a new 40,000-SF, 2-story engineering building for a private university. Imagined as a living thing, able to react to its environment and be an important part of the ecosystem, the facility included classroom and lab spaces, a machine shop lab and open areas for assembly and collaboration and a full kitchen/servery. The building could adapt both to the surrounding natural landscape as well is that interior ecosystem; where structural, mechanical, electrical, and pedagogical systems could work in harmony
