Baskervill transformed this outdated two-story retail building into a much-needed, stand-alone surgery center. The physician-owned facility offers patients access to 30,000-sf of state-of-the-art operating suites and procedure rooms. The client engaged our design team early on for site planning, programming, scheduling, cost estimating, and conceptual designs during the Certificate of Public Need process, which studied the feasibility of the center within the geographic area. As the COPN process wrapped up, Baskervill began work on architectural and engineering design services, working within an accelerated schedule of seven months from completion of permitting and Architectural Planning Department Review.
