Faison Flo and Tony Guzman Community Center
Architecture | Interior Design | MEP Engineering
An extension of Baskervill’s ongoing work at the Faison Center, the Flo and Tony Guzman Community Center adds a 10,000 SF gym and community center to the campus. The space is equipped with a gymnasium, meeting room, and catering kitchen. Our architecture and MEP team designed the center to be adaptive enough to meet the needs of Faison students and staff as well as community members. From staff meetings to conferences and community events, the space can hold approximately 400 people. Transitioning the space from game day to an award ceremony? Not a problem - the building’s structural deck is acoustic to handle varying noise levels. Not to mention, basketball goals retract, and projection screens come down to make the space suitable for event needs.
