From Denver to Gdańsk: Baskervill celebrates new office openings

It’s official: Baskervill is growing. As we close out our 125th year in operation, we’re looking to the future, celebrating office expansions in three new cities: Charlotte, North Carolina, Denver, Colorado and Gdańsk, Poland. Charlotte, Denver, and Gdańsk join a growing global footprint encompassing Orlando, Richmond, and Washington, DC, as well as individuals and small teams throughout the US.

While the three cities may appear random, they’re connected by two converging threads: our people and our business strategy.

“The future of our team and our business are one in the same. We’ve always viewed growth as a beneficial byproduct of serving our clients where and how they need and providing our talented team with pathways unique to them,” says Baskervill President Bob Clark. “Our new office locations do just that and more, offering desirable destinations in which to recruit and thriving economic engines our clients are already tapped into. It’s a natural progression for us.”

“We were excited to offer each employee opportunities that provided them with the autonomy to develop their careers – and our business – in new and different ways.”

They say, ‘you can never go home again’, but an increasing number of our employees will tell you differently. In this case, office leaders from both Charlotte and Gdańsk pivoted from our DC and Richmond offices to their home cities. The opportunity to chart new territory in the mile-high city was too exciting to resist for three former Richmonders who set their sights on Denver.

“We were excited to offer each employee opportunities that provided them with the autonomy to develop their careers – and our business – in new and different ways,” Bob says.  “If nothing else, the last three years have gifted us the perspective to see just how dynamic and impactful these opportunities can be. We’ve seen the teams in these three cities grow rapidly in the last several months alone!”

As we look to the future and celebrate the growing opportunities that allow us to help shape communities all over the world, we’re firm believers in honoring our roots. Our history as a small business and our philosophy that strong collaboration is at the heart of every project propels us to this day. We’re in the business of designing spaces that empower ideas and connect people, and an increasingly diverse geography allows us to do just that. The last 125 years? They‘re just the beginning.
