The following is required of the presenter when Virtual/Hybrid:
• The presenter must provide their own device (laptop, tablet, etc.) and be able to utilize Microsoft Teams.
• You will receive a meeting invite, which will include Microsoft Teams info. You must accept and can join at the scheduled date/time.
• Be prepared to join the meeting and share your screen if you have content/presentation that needs to be shown to attendees.
• If using Powerpoint, consider utilizing the Powerpoint Live function in Microsoft Teams to reduce lag when presenting, especially if your presentation includes video and/or audio.
• If you are planning on sharing content from a mobile device (including an iPad; remotely or in-person), the Microsoft Teams mobile app is required to join the meeting and share your screen.
If presenting in-person ONLY but need to share content to the conference room monitor:
• The presenter must bring a device with an HDMI port (most laptops have an HDMI port) if you are planning on sharing content to the conference room monitor.
• If using Powerpoint, consider utilizing the Powerpoint Live function in Microsoft Teams to reduce lag when presenting, especially if your presentation includes video and/or audio.
• If you are unable to share the content/presentation from a laptop and you plan to bring another device (such as an iPad or Microsoft Surface), please see the steps above and plan to install the Microsoft Teams app to share your screen at the time of the presentation. Please also request the Lunch & Learn Coordinator to send your meeting invite via Microsoft Teams so that you can connect.
